This is a story of a poor little girl in a poor
bigger world.
This girl has nothing but candle, so what’s for?
No match to light it up, no roof to hide from the
dark.
She is starving she is dreaming,
nothing’s more comfort than her humming.
Her hungry belly is the only reminder for life
Hurts are real, so does her tears
Nothing’s more comfort than her humming.
Tonight is the last night for life,
The dark was so close last night,
She has a candle, but what’s for?
Even a miracle does not come often
Then someone comes to light up the candle
For God damn sake, it’s only a candle.
Even a miracle does not come often
She is starving and dreaming
Nothing’s more comfort than her humming.
He lights it up, he lights it up.
The darkness won’t touch her tonight
She praise the man who saved her life
The savior of a poor girl’s life
Now and then, the happiness will last
The warmth of memory it does
Even the candle dies
A dying girl smiles tonight
She is straving and dreaming....
She falls asleep in light.
