The mother earth couldn't speak for herself

"I know, I know"

The world becomes so cruel these years. I was born in 1990 whereas the technology had been available worldwide and grew rapidly. I've seen how diskette turned to be flash-disk and how a big box turned to be plasma.

I remember, I cried when I saw a film named artificial intelligence, a Stephen Spielberg movie. I knew that this sophistication needs to be paid back.

Once I read books about universe, science, and environment, I knew that the world revolves to the wrong direction.

I think the IBM tagline is so bullshit when it says, "for a better world"

I didn't see the point where the progress turns to be good. I saw so many messing up urban places, people fought for live, against each other.

I wonder why do they have such a wistful dream to live in a big city, to earn some insignificant penny for sustaining their flamboyant lifestyle.

I mean, they even couldn't eat those clothes, cars, money, and golds. I mean, why don't they spend their money on more responsible ways. Like, a better living system, healthy environment, eco friendly cars, or whatever people might think to spend it.
At least be responsible.

I felt that compare to the other earth elements (wind, fire, earth, and water). Water is the most powerful substance. It will be silent for long time, but it will struck whatever it desires in order to hold the balance. A roaring waves to a silent pool, both are a powerful fuel to destroy any solid substance that boards up its way.

I saw news and stories and become extremely sad about my country. I don't know what to do anymore. I mean, if I could turn back time once again, I would volunteering myself to be a red cross army or philanthropist in this sickening condition instead to be an industrial engineer or banker as well.

Then I extremely sad when I remember my decision to stop my donation to Greenpeace because they had some ordeal problems in Indonesia and facing prosecution against AFP sinarmas group thingy. As an industrial engineering student, I do not want this issue affects my career in related industries.

I knew that industrial engineer should thinks like capitalist, and that's how the world ruling. But, deep down inside my heart I knew that that isn't right to do.

I am not a rebel or what, I just want justice for this earth. Because the mother earth couldn't speak for herself.
